Hotel Pontao General Impression
This is a small modern hotel, with friendly Cape Verdean management in a very convenient location just 250 yards from the beach and the jetty with the fish market. The swimming pool with circular seating area and surrounding sun terrace provides the perfect spot to relax and the nearest beach is only 300 metres away.
The Pontao offers 24 standard room and 12 two-bedroom suites. All the rooms at the hotel are tastefully decorated in a fresh, bright style.
Standard Room: With either double or twin beds, shower, hairdryer, mini bar, satellite TV, safety deposit box (charge payable locally) and balcony - Sleeps up to 3 people.
Two-bedroom Suite: Consists of two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with single beds. There is a separate lounge area, shower, hairdryer, mini bar, satellite TV, safety deposit box and balcony. Air-conditioning is provided in the lounge area and in one of the bedrooms - Sleeps up to 4 people.
