Diving In The Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands, made up of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman, are great places for diving in the Caribbean. Grand Cayman is the biggest island with the capital George Town. It has famous places like Seven-Mile Beach and offers around 170 dive sites, including the Kittiwake wreck and Babylon, a wall around the island with lots of sea life.
Cayman Brac has at least 50 dive sites, good for both new and experienced divers. A popular dive is the MV Captain Keith Tibbetts, a sunken frigate that creates an artificial reef. Other interesting sites include Buccaneer Reef, Radar Reef with a bronze sculpture, and Wilderness Wall.
Little Cayman is the smallest island, perfect for a quiet and relaxed trip. The dive at Bloody Bay Wall is impressive, with diverse marine life and clear visibility. It's also home to endangered red-footed boobies.
Overall, the Cayman Islands offer a special experience for divers, with history, nature, and exciting underwater adventures across the three islands. Here at Planet Dive we can construct tailor-made holidays to include 2 or more of the islands in one amazing scuba diving holiday.
