Overview of Lucy
M/Y Lucy is a 37 meters mono hull purpose built liveaboard with clean contemporary interior design finished to a high standard. Lucy arrived in Djibouti in 2016 in time for the Whale Shark season and to dive the reefs of the southern Red Sea including the Sawabi Islands, aka the Seven Brothers.
Accommodation aboard Lucy
Lucy sleeps 22 guests in 10 twin and 2 single cabins. Each has climate controlled air-con with en suite shower, mini bar, reading lights and bed side USB charging points. The lounge room is equipped with a 65″ Ultra HD cinema surround system, hand made speakers by French firm ‘Focal’ and a bar.
The dive deck superbly laid out with ample space for all your accessories, charging points and with superb wall mounted bluetooth/USB Clarion music player, marine grade amps and Q Aquistics ceiling speakers.
The top and sun deck are furnished to the highest standard with bean bags and sufficient seating area or lie down for a nap or to take up some sun.
Drink & Dine aboard Lucy
Breakfast and three-course meals are served to guests in a fresh and contemporary designed dining room. Coffee and tea are available as is fresh drinking water at all times.
If you have a favorite snack feel free to bring it with you as availability may be limited locally. For any special dietary requests, such as vegetarian meals, please inform us at time of booking and mention it to the crew on boarding Lucy.
Chilled draft beer, wine and spirits, along with carbonated mixers, are charged for onboard. Your dive guides will not allow you to dive after consuming alcohol or while still under its influence as alcohol impairs judgment and increases your risk of decompression sickness.

Encounters with Whale Sharks: From mid October to February with the plankton ‘blooms’ in Goubet al Kharab (the Devil’s Cauldron)
The Seven Brothers: The islands off the coast of Djibouti boast 200 recorded species of coral, some of which are endemic to the region, and plenty of reef and pelagic marine life.
