The Lembeh Strait is widely recognized by marine biologists as having the world's highest concentration of rare and unusual marine life. Accommodation At Lembeh Resort
Guests of Lembeh Resort have a choice of 3 different categories of accommodations, Deluxe Ocean View Cottages, Garden View Rooms and the newly constructed luxury unit, the Cliffside Suite.
All accommodations include 24-hour electricity, en-suite bathroom with hot water, hairdryer, Lembeh Resorts custom-made soaps and shampoo, air-conditioning, king-size bed or twin beds, wardrobe, table and chair, dispenser for cold and hot drinking water, complimentary tea and coffee, stocked mini-bar, free WiFi, and electronic safe. Groomed walkways traverse the well-attended grounds of lush tropical gardens including many fauna and flora found only in the tropics.
Due to Lembeh Resort's remote tropical island location, accommodations come with our full board meal plan – 3 sumptuous meals daily, along with snacks, coffee, & tea.
Cliffside Suite
This beautiful unit is perched on a green hillside, surrounded by colourful floral gardens. The fully air conditioned one-bedroom suite offers a spacious lounge with an espresso machine, minibar, flatscreen TV and a comfortable desk, perfect for working on your images after a day of underwater photography.
The bedroom has floor to ceiling windows, a king size canopy bed and is through sliding doors connected to an elegantly decorated bathroom with two sinks, one indoor shower as well as one Balinese style open air shower from which one can directly access one of the pool-side sundecks. Nowhere is the natural beauty of Lembeh Island enjoyed better than at the outdoor living areas of the Cliffside Suite.
The two sundecks and one covered veranda offer privacy and 180° panoramic views of volcanoes, sunsets and the calm waters of Lembeh Strait. The large infinity pool offers the best spot in the resort to enjoy a leisurely swim or a chilled sundowner cocktail with a loved one.
Deluxe Ocean View Cottages
You can stay in one of two different Deluxe Cottage styles: Traditional Minahasan or Modern Cliffside. Lembeh Resort's Traditional Minahasan Cottages are built using traditional or Minahasan style building techniques; large verandas are coupled with spacious sleeping rooms and Balinese (semi-open) bathrooms. All Minahasan Cottages are surrounded by the resort gardens, located directly behind the waterline offering fabulous ocean views. For the Modern Cliffside Cottages contemporary construction methods are blended with a traditional style and continued use of the semi open Balinese bathrooms. The Modern Cliffside Cottages are perched on a lush green hillside above the bay, offering the best ocean and sunset views in the resort.
Garden View Rooms
Constructed in 2012, the Garden View Rooms are located close to the restaurant and Dive Center and are nestled in the lush tropical gardens. Wander along the groomed walkways or just sit back and relax on the verandah and enjoy the tropical sounds, local fauna and flora that the Garden View Rooms offer. These rooms are perfect for single travellers or those guests with a smaller budget.
Luxury Cottages
The newly finished Luxury Cottages incorporate a mix of modern materials combined with traditional Indonesian detailing and organic touches to promote a sense of harmony and balance.
Attention to detail has been applied throughout, from the ambient lighting and elegant furnishings through to the carefully concealed sockets and charging station.

Drink & Dine
To the great advantage of Lembeh Resort, the artisanal farmers of North Sulawesi produce the freshest tropical vegetables and fruits throughout the year while the bountiful Celebes Sea offers some of the best seafood in all of Indonesia. To ensure genuine deliciousness the resort receives daily deliveries of fresh locally grown produce, much of which is cultivated with traditional and organic methods.
The fish is line-caught and purchased every morning from small scale local fisheries. The spacious and charming restaurant is newly refurbished and located centrally within the resort with beautiful views of the Lembeh Strait. It is on the upper level of the main building and is open from 7 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast is served as a buffet with a wide variety of fresh tropical fruits, healthy juices, freshly baked breads, imported cheese, cereals, yogurts and oven-fresh pastries. The breakfast menu is a mix of both western and Indonesian dishes. Pancakes, waffles, french toast and eggs any style is made á la minute and to your liking.
Lunch is usually served as a buffet as well, with an assortment of fresh salads, soup, western and Indonesian dishes and homemade desserts.
The sumptuous menus change daily to ensure variation and guarantee freshness.
Dinner is served á la carte, with the chefs preparing a wide selection of international and Indonesian cuisine catering to all tastes. The chefs will happily do their utmost to accommodate any special requests or dietary requirements.
Morning and afternoon snacks are served between dives, and teas and coffees available throughout the day in the dining area as well as at the pool-bar.
In addition to the daily menu the resort features Indonesian BBQ nights where guests can enjoy a delicious spread of authentic Indonesian dishes, a great chance to try the local specialties, all the while being entertained with song and dance by the local Sunday school choir.
Guests may enjoy a bottle of wine from the temperature-controlled wine room, sip a refreshing cocktail or simply have a cold local Bintang beer while sitting at the bar.
The new poolside bar is one of the best spots to enjoy the view over Lembeh Strait between dives or gather with friends for sunset. You can chat with other guests and share your diving experiences, have a drink while watching the sunset, or simply stargaze after dinner.
The pool bar staff offers freshly made snacks between dives, ice-cold beverages, and coffee and tea. If you are so inclined, order an espresso, café latte, or a homemade ice cream after lunch.
Beautiful sunsets and ice-cold beer, Bintang or tropical frozen cocktails are a superb way to end your dive day.

Why not unwind by treating yourself to a a relaxing massage at the purpose built spa, nestled away in the lush jungle-gardens of Lembeh Resort. Enjoy one of the signature treatments with locally made products and essential oils, the perfect way to end an amazing day of critter diving in Lembeh Strait.
