Accommodation

At Uma Ubud you can experience a resort that features both Bali and contemporary comforts with sleek, uncluttered interiors. Uma Ubud feels like a rural home in the hills with narrow paths leading between rooms and suites and their small, walled tropical gardens. Local materials include thatched woods and alang-alang roofs, latter accents introduced in sleek black and white bathrooms. Carved panels open up to bring in the view and the scent of the forest. Light flows through interiors, from the bedroom through to garden terraces, inherent courtyards and infinity-edge pools.

Terrace Room: The 14 bright and airy Terrace Rooms feature a confortable four-poster bed draped in white voile. Wide French doors open onto the private terrace overlooking Uma Ubud’s gardens. The bathroom has a sunken bath, outdoor shower and a beautiful ornate mirror.

Garden Room: An open-air courtyard with a independent seating area and fish pond connects the Garden Room’s spacious bedroom and bathroom. Each of these 10 rooms are equipped with a four-poster and contemporary, open-air black and white bathroom with tub and separate shower.

Uma Suite: It has a sitting, dining room and bedroom with four-poster. Light flows through the interiors creating a sunny feel while the bathroom has a sunken bath and separate shower. Doors onto a secluded terrace provide sweeping Tjampuhan Valley views.

Uma Pool Suite: All three of these spacious, light-filled suites are alike to the Uma Suite with a large sitting and dining room as well as a comfortable bedroom featuring a four-poster bed. The highlight is the private plunge pool with views of the Balinese jungle and Tjampuhan Valley.

COMO Suite: The headline suite offers a separate bedroom, sitting area and bathroom s well as a treatment area, a spacious sundeck and an infinity pool overlooking the Tjampuhan Valley and snaking River Oos.

Restaurant&Bar

At Uma Ubud, tha approach to cuisine is modern, light and respectful of local nuances. Menus revive traditional Indonesian offering both contemporary interpretations of neighbouring cuisines and Chinese wok-fried dishes. The menu relies on fresh produce harvested locally. This includes exceptional seafood, honey and farm-fresh vegetables. In addition to Asian dishes, classic international comfort salads and a cool pool bar are offered.

Kemiri Restaurant: Kemiri, meaning candlenut in Bahasa, is an open-air space beside a waterfall-fed pond, with alang-alang thatched ceilings. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served with dishes showcasing Bali’s mouthwatering gourmet heritage as altogether as latter interpretations of Southeast Asian cooking. Both à la carte and set menu choices are available as well as healthy COMO Shambhala Cuisine. Dishes might include Chinese roast pigeon, grilled Lombok lobster or banana-wrapped steamed snapper with coconut sambal. Breakfast dishes include ‘nasi lemak’ or toast with rambutan blossom honey.
