Tour description
Explore the stunning azure waters of Mozambique on this 7-day dive package to Azura Quilalea. Azura at Quilalea is a hidden gem, with a relaxed and understated ‘Robinson Crusoe’ castaway style that belies the comforts and experiences on offer in stunning seafront villas. The house reef is perfect for a refresher or first time dive and a unique location for a night dive for qualified divers. In addition to this reef, there are another 17 dive sites one can visit that include some fantastic drop offs and coral gardens located both inside and outside of the Quirimbas Archipelago Marine Sanctuary. You will see a plethora of marine life: green and hawksbill turtles, humpback whales (seasonal), reef sharks, stingrays, devil rays, moray eels, dolphin, grouper, as well as a variety of reef fish such as surgeons, puffers, moorish idols, parrot fish, clown fish, trigger fish and chocolate dip fish. Hard and soft corals are in abundance, with nudibranchs for those who like to spot the smaller stuff.

Arrive at Azura Quilalea5* Azura Quilalea, Northern Mozambique
Full Board
Arrive at Azura Quilalea after a 20 min scenic helicopter transfer to the island. Upon your arrival you will be met by the managers, in which you can enjoy refreshments during your orientation followed by a light lunch. Then later, settle in and relax, your hosts will serve sunset cocktails at the villa. Enjoy delicious beach dinner under the stars.

Dive the House Reef5* Azura Quilalea, Northern Mozambique
Full Board
Breakfast is served in the shady beach garden. After breakfast, meet at the Watersports centre to fit gear and kit up for scuba diving. Enjoy a morning of diving on the House Reef. One of the few house reefs in Mozambique with an easy shore entry, possibly the only one in the Quirimbas Archipelago. This dive site is usually only dived by guests of Azura Quilalea.
At about midday you will meet your host for a leisurely walk through the sand forest to the deserted Turtle Beach, for a refreshing swim and a lazy private beach picnic lunch in a shaded grove.

Full Board
Breakfast will be served in the Jellyfish restaurant followed by a scuba diving trip by boat to the outer reef of Canyon or Estadio da Luz (The Stadium of Light). Lunch is served in the shady beach garden. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure for beach time or to take in the Baobabs on an exploratory leisurely stroll around the island, or indulge in a relaxing treatment at the cliff-side Spa. At 3pm guests will meet for a Dhow Cruise, a time honoured tradition in East African waters, set sail in a traditional Mozambican Dhow sailboat. Watch the sunset as you drift along on the ocean breezes. Enjoy a delicious dinner on the main beach with stargazing and Astronomy talk

Dive Casino Royal reef5* Azura Quilalea, Northern Mozambique

Breakfast will be served in the Jellyfish restaurant followed by a scuba diving trip by boat on the outer reef called Casino Royal. Lunch is served in the shady beach garden. After lunch guests will meet at High Tide at the Watersports centre for a 10 minute boat ride to Sencar Island to drop into kayaks for a serene glide through the mangroves on the high tide.
Enjoy a night snorkel or dive with one of our activity Managers. A must for lovers of snorkelling, we guide you out onto the house reef with underwater torches to see how different everything looks at night, as the shrimp and a host of night critters and fish come out of hiding from their daytime slumber a whole new underwater world awaits you. Enjoy a delicious dinner on the deck of your villa

Breakfast is served in the Jellyfish restaurant. At Low Tide guests will meet for a complimentary guided marine walk . On this adventurous walk you will discover small pools containing a diversity of small fish, soft corals as well as other natural wonders which are normally not visible to the naked eye during high tide. Lunch is served in the shady beach garden. Followed by an optional snorkel on the house reef with direct beach access. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the Baobab trees.
