The itinerary
Watamu
Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Nairobi on Kenyan Airways.
You will be met at the airport in Nairobi by our local ground agents who will take you to Wilson Airport for your onward flight in light aircraft to the Masai Mara (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival, you will be taken by safari vehicle to Governor's Main Camp. You will be taken on 1-2 guided game drives on the day of your arrival.
Governor's Camp is regularly voted the best hotel in Kenya and is currently the set for the nature documentary Big Cats. While at Governor's Camp, you will enjoy 3 guided game drives per day in search of the Big Five. In between game viewing, you can relax in luxury in the comfort of your tent. Don't miss out on G&T sundowners as you watch the enormous African sun set on the horizon.

Watamu is a small village on the Northern Kenyan coast around a 3 hour transfer from Mombasa Airport (or just 30 minutes from Malidi airport). The area is absolutely stunning with pristine white-sand beaches and reef-protected lagoons; Watamu was voted one of the top ten beaches in the world!
The shoreline in the area features offshore coral formations arranged in three bays: Watamu Bay, Blue Lagoon and Turtle Bay. They are protected as part of the Watamu Marine National Park. The Marine Park is considered one of the best snorkeling and diving areas on the coast of East Africa.
Watamu is best for those looking for a quiet, tranquil holiday with amazing local diving. It also great for single travelers and female travelers as this is one of the safety and most hassle free beach resort in Kenya. After breakfast, you will have one or two game drives en route to the airstrip (depending on the time of your flight). You will fly from the Masai Mara to Nairobi, where you will be met by our ground agents and taken to Nairobi Airport for your short flight to Mombasa (approximately 45 minutes). You will be met by your driver at Mombasa Airport and taken to Hemingway's Beach Resort, on the famous Watamu Marine Park for the next five nights.
Enjoy the next five days and four nights at leisure on the beautiful beaches of Mombasa. Hemingway's Beach Resort provides the perfect backdrop for relaxation and quality diving in Kenya. Situated on the marine park in Watamu, the marine life is protected and close by. There is a plethora of nearby dive sites to choose from, including: coral gardens, wrecks,swim throughs and walls. You can expect to see sharks, rays, reef fish, migrating pelagics, and of course, turtles. 10 dives are included in your package and more dives can be added upon request or booked locally.
