Luxury Jordan Dive Tour
Dive, and the Jordan you'd hate to miss
Jordan is a country steeped in history with dramatic landscapes, memorable excursions, and fringing reefs offering unspoilt diving. Many will know of the ancient city of Petra, but you will also find drammatic castles, Roman remains and biblical sites. There is plenty to keep even the most active occupied. From the dramatic scenary of Wadi Rum to the spectacular color reefs of Aqaba. All the dive sites in Jordan are located very close to the shore line so both boat and shore diving access the same sites, it is just a matter of which mode of transport is preferred. There is some especially exciting diving close to the Saudi border where you will find deep walls only very recently discovered! There is also one of the best wreck dives in the Red Sea here, the 'Cedar Pride' - this is an astonishing dive!!

The itinerary
Amman
Fly from London Heathrow to Amman Airport (direct).
Upon arrival at Amman International Airport you will be met by a member of our staff who will assist through customs and passport formalities and will lead you to identify your luggage. Then you will be escorted outside to meet your private driver & guide who will transfer you to your hotel.
Amman is a fun and fascinating city to explore in your own. The capital of Jordan, is a city of contrasts – a unique blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. The downtown area is much older and more traditional with smaller businesses producing local goods that make great souvenirs. In the commercial heart of the city, ultra-modern buildings, art galleries and boutiques rub shoulders comfortably with traditional coffee shops and tiny artisans' workshops. The people of Amman are multi-cultural, multi-denominational, well-educated and extremely hospitable.
Dead Sea
After breakfast you will be picked un by your private driver for a one hour drive to Jerash Roman Ruins with a local English-speaking guide.
The fascinating city makes a great day-trip from Amman, particularly in spring, when the wildflowers are in bloom. Although a short drive away, you will be transported 2000 years back in time. After two hours tour in Jerash transfer to the wondrous Dead Sea for overnight.
The Dead Sea is the lowest spot on earth - 1300 feet below sea level. The Dead Sea is 75 km long, ranges from 6 to 16 km wide and has no outlet. The high salt content makes any plant and animal life impossible. The high concentration of salt is not a result of it being below sea level, but rather is caused by the high evaporation rate, which has, over the years, led to the build up of salts. For centuries, people have flocked to the Dead Sea to enjoy the benefits of soaking in its mineral-rich, salt filled waters. Cleopatra recognized the cosmetic benefits of the Dead Sea.
Petra
After breakfast, spend two hours floating in the therapeutic water of the Dead Sea and bathing your skin in the mineral mud on its banks. After two hours of relaxation you will be served lunch before your afternoon transfer to Petra. Along the way you will take in the sights of Mt Nebo and Karak.
Aqaba
Once you have had breakfast at your hotel, you will spend full day exploring the UNESCO world heritage site of Petra with a local English-speaking guide. Petra is a historical and archaeological city built in the 6th century B.C., an entire fortress city was carved from pink-hued stone and lies nestled between cliffs. It is without a doubt Jordan's most valuable treasure and most visited tourist attraction. Afterwards transfer to Aqaba. Check into your hotel, where you will spend the next 7 nights as your base for diving.
Enjoy 10 boat dives (includes: tanks, weights, air, guide, pick up) over the next seven days. Relax on the beautiful beaches on Aqaba.
