The dive centre at the Gorgonia Beach Resort in Marsa Alam is a PADI Gold Palm Resort located inside the Gorgonia Beach Resort, a hotel of the highest standard positioned on a beatiful natural bay with access to a stunning housereef via a series of natural lagoons. The diving centre uses new Mares diving and snorkelling equipment. The location of the resort within the Wadi Gamal National Park protected area means that the dive centre offers a wide range of diving and snorkeling trips, dives from the house reef, shore dives from local bays reachable by minibus, one dive trips by zodiac and full day trips by hardboat, special excursions also include dives within the National Park area of Wadi Gamal, trips to Elphinstone, Dolphin House (Samadi) and Dugong Bay (Marsa Abu Dababa), each dive spot has special attractions, and there are dive sites suitable for all levels of experience. The dive centre offers a full range of courses: a FREE try dive (Discover Scuba) in the pool for those who want a taste of diving, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving, or entry level certification courses such as PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver courses.
