Diving Holidays In Aqaba
Planet Dive has a wealth of knowledge and experience in this fascinating country. We can provide tailor-made packages combining scuba diving from the Red Sea Resort of Aqaba with the many other tour options around the country. Jordan is best suited to those looking for an alternative Red Sea diving holiday, away from the mass market of Egypt, wishing to combine great diving with a rich cultural experience.
Diving In Aqaba
All the dive sites in Jordan are located closely to the shoreline, meaning both boat and shore diving access the same sites. The diving along this coastline is excellent and exceeds other diving in the Northern Red Sea. It is the perfect choice for beginner divers through to the more experienced.
There is some exciting diving close to the Saudi border where you will find deep walls, many of these walls have only just been discovered! Another highlight when diving this area is you will be treated to seeing the Cedar Pride, which is well-known as one of the best wreck dives in the Red Sea. Visibility averages around 35-40m throughout the area. During plankton blooms, usually April and May, this may diminish to 10-15m. However, mid summer visibility can extend beyond 50m.
