Overview of Carpe Novo
Built in the Maldives Carpe Novo is expected to start operations in March 2016. Carpe Novo is the big sister of Carpe Diem and Carpe Vita, two of the most highly rated Maldives liveaboards. Carpe Novo is more spacious and built to an even higher specification than her sister ships. A maximum of 21 guests will be accommodated in twelve cabins located around her three decks. Like Carpe Diem she will offer 3 dives per day within a schedule of itineraries taking in the best diving that the Maldives have to offer.
Accommodation aboard Carpe Novo
The Carpe Novo has 12 comfortable cabins of different standards divided over 3 decks. The different cabin types are junior suite (4), single suites (2) and standard (6). All cabins have individually controlled AC, safety deposit boxes and TV screens connected to central media system and their own private bathrooms. The electricity voltage on board is of 220V and the plugs are of multinational type.
Junior Suite The 4 junior suite cabins (Whale shark, Hammerhead, Tiger shark and Thresher shark cabins) have king size (California) beds which can be separated in two single beds, a wide flat screen TV connected to central media system, desk/chair/dresser, two hanging closets, windows throughout the side of the cabin, bathroom with dual sink and a spacious shower.
Single suites The two single suites cabins (Eagle ray and Manta ray), located on the main deck have queen size beds and desk/chair, TV connected to central media system, hanging closet, large windows, private ensuite bathroom and shower.
Standard A total of 6 standard cabins are located on the cabin deck below the main deck. 4 cabins (Turtle, Dolphin, Barracuda and Napoleon) have one queen size bed and a single bed and the two front cabins (Frog fish and Napoleon) have two single beds. All cabins have a smart TV connected to central media system, desk, private ensuite bathrooms with showers. All standard cabins have portholes.
