Overview of Carpe Diem
Built in 2008, M/V Carpe Diem is a 35m luxury liveaboard with separate fully equipped diving dhoni. Cabins and facilities are spread over four decks and so with a maximum capacity of 20 guests, there is an ample space to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Indian Ocean.
Imagine enjoying the beautiful Maldivian Sun, Sea, Sand and Stars while Scuba diving, Salsa dancing, Spa visiting, Skiing (water and jet ski), Surfing, Sunbathing, Snorkelling and Swimming. Cruising in the Maldives has never been so diverse and fun with all these activities offered on our brand new boat resulting in a dream holiday.
Accommodation aboard Carpe Diem
The Carpe Diem has 10 comfortable cabins across 3 decks:
Suite - There is one very spacious suite, our SUN cabin, with over 20 m2 in size is located at the upper deck. The suite has a king size bed, a wide flat screen TV plus DVD/MP3 player and an ample closet plus storage space. The 5 windows give a beautiful view to the sea.
Deluxe Cabin - Opposite the suite on the upper deck is a big cabin, the STAR cabin, with a queen size double bed, flat screen TV plus DVD/MP3 player and 3 windows overlooking Maldives blue waters.
High Standard - The Carpe Diem has two high standard cabins, SEA and SAND, which are a little smaller than the deluxe cabin on the upper deck and located on the main deck with queen size double beds and TV plus DVD/MP3 players. They both have picture windows.
Standard - A total of 6 standard cabins, SALSA, SCUBA, SURF, SMILE, SNORKEL and SKI are located on the cabin deck below the main deck. 4 of these standard cabins are very spacious having a queen double bed and bunk bed. The 2 other standard cabins each have a twin bed and bunk bed and can only take twin sharing occupancy. All standard cabins have portholes.

Bar and lounge area equipped with a wide flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, in house sound system, seating area and a bar offering a wide variety of spirits, wines, liquors and beers. There is also a 140m² sun deck and shaded areas with sun chairs.
Drink & Dine
High quality food will be served on Carpe Diem Live aboard. You will enjoy the excellent variety of the fine dining chef for European and international cuisine and the experienced local chef for a delicious variety of Maldivian, Thai and Indian cuisine. There are always plenty of fresh ingredients used including fresh fruit, vegetables and seafood. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a comfortable area with a splendid view.
Coffee, tea, drinking water and fruit are provided free of charge whereas soft drinks, fruit juices, milk shakes, mineral water and beer are available for purchase.

Diving Facilities
The Carpe Diem is accompanied by an 18 metre separate diving dhoni (tender boat), especially designed and built for this purpose. The dive dhoni is equipped with two fresh water showers & toilet, 3 compressors (1 Bauer & 2 Coltri) and a Nitrox Nuvair system. All the diving equipment is kept on the dhoni, giving more space to the Carpe Diem itself plus enhanced safety. Additional benefits include fast & safe transfers to the dive sites and extra comfort when putting on your gear. On board we have a fully equipped PADI licensed dive school offering courses for beginners up to several specialty courses for the more experienced divers.
