Sarojin, in detail

The Sarojin, Khao Lak

The Sarojin is an Award-Winning hotel in Khao Lak's — an intimate, adults-focused hideaway of just 56 residences set on a breathtaking 11-kilometre sweep of white-sand beach on Thailand's Andaman coast. Understated, elegant and quietly luxurious, it has built its reputation on impeccable, personal service and a genuine sense of romance and calm. For couples, honeymooners and discerning travellers who want the very best of Khao Lak — and effortless access to the world-class diving of the Similan Islands — there are few finer addresses.
The resort sits on Pakarang Beach. Its stretch of coast is something special: an eleven-kilometre ribbon of soft white sand, sheltered by the coral headland of Pakarang Cape, which calms the water and makes for safe, easy swimming and watersports for much of the year. Lush tropical gardens, stone pathways and an ancient ficus tree at the resort's heart give The Sarojin a serene, grown-up sense of place — barefoot luxury without a hint of the crowds.
Because it welcomes children aged ten and over only, the atmosphere stays peaceful and refined throughout — which is exactly why it's such a favourite for couples and romantic escapes.
Accommodation comes in the form of 56 beautifully appointed guest residences, spread low among the gardens across a handful of two-storey buildings. Interiors are cool and contemporary — crisp white linen, natural stone floors, timber accents and generous open-plan couples' bathrooms — each with a private sundeck or garden sala to retreat to.
The Garden Residences (95 sqm, 28 in total) are the gorgeous entry point, opening onto private tropical gardens with a shaded Thai sala pavilion.
The Pool Residences (120 sqm, 14 of them) add a private plunge pool right outside your door.
The Jacuzzi Pool Suites (150 sqm) are larger again, with a heated whirlpool pavilion for two.
Two-Bedroom Pool Residences (215 sqm) combine the best of the garden and pool residences in one spacious retreat.
Every residence comes with air conditioning, a king bed, complimentary Wi-Fi and the resort's signature unhurried comfort.
Dining at The Sarojin is a highlight in its own right. Ficus serves international, gourmet and Italian cuisine beneath the spreading branches of the resort's ancient ficus tree, while The Edge sits right on the beachfront, showcasing Thai and Southeast Asian flavours with the Andaman as your backdrop. There's an award-winning wine bar and a relaxed beach bar too, and — as you'd hope from a resort this romantic — a whole menu of private dining experiences: a candlelit dinner beside a jungle waterfall, a table for two on a secluded sandbar, or a barbecue on the beach beneath the stars. A gourmet breakfast, served with a glass of sparkling wine, is included every morning.
The Pathways Spa is a secluded sanctuary of open-air treatment pavilions, several built for couples with their own bathing pools, offering a signature massage that blends Thai, Balinese, Swedish, Shiatsu and Hawaiian techniques alongside Decléor facials. At the centre of the resort, an elegant infinity pool and jacuzzi are framed by the gardens, and there's a fitness centre and daily yoga for those who like to stay active between treatments.
The resort is a natural, luxurious base for diving and snorkelling the Similan and Surin Islands — regularly rated among the top dive destinations in the world, with visibility that can reach 30 metres — reached easily via the resort's own speedboat and the nearby piers. Back at base, the resort's private luxury boat, the Lady Sarojin, runs bespoke cruises to hidden coves and islands, and there's a full spread of watersports including catamarans, kayaks and paddleboards. Beyond the water you'll find a cooking school, golf (three courses within an easy drive), pickleball, and tailor-made excursions into the five surrounding national parks and local communities.
An intimate, award-winning boutique resort for couples, on one of the Andaman coast's most beautiful beaches — 56 elegant residences, gourmet dining, a serene spa and genuinely exceptional service, paired with easy access to the incredible diving of the Similan Islands. The Sarojin is Khao Lak luxury at its very finest.
