Accommodation
The Blue & Green Studios
These studios offer a view over the Santa Barbara Beach and the mountain range near Lagoa do Fogo. Every Studio has a living area, presenting itself with a neat decoration, highlighting the natural theme, and is equipped with a small kitchenette. The large rooms with private WC allow you to contemplate the privileged view of the land, and to the sea, bringing balance to your spirit. The Blue & Green Studios provides a unique experience and the shared heated saltwater pool allow you to relax and admire the tones of the magical nature of the Azores.
The Retreat Studios
Invest in the most exclusive comfort of the resort and in the fantastic view from the exterior jacuzzi on the terrace. The Retreat Studios have a small equipped kitchenette and a living area. The suspended bed allows you to sleep with the city at your feet, observing also the mountain on the side, and Santa Barbara beach on the other side. Designed to “spoil” you even more, the Retreat Studios have Claus Porto bathroom amenities and a robe at your disposal. Just relax and enjoy the stunning view over the São Miguel north coast. For larger families or a group of friends, Retreat Studios can be connected to a Two-bedroom Retreat Villa.
Garden Villas
The regional cryptomeria is the focus of these Garden Villas, which present themselves with a neat decoration. At the entrance, you will find a living room with all the facilities and a small equipped kitchenette. The rooms and suites are spaces that stand out for the magnificent detail of the sculpted elements in the micro-cement, as well as for their amazing view to the garden. The terraces are equipped with comfortable wooden chairs which allow you to contemplate the mountain range, the exterior swimming pool and the lake. Available as a one bedroom or two bedroom villa.

Designed to “spoil” you even more, the retreat villas have Cowshed bathroom amenities and a robe at your disposal. Available as a one bedroom or two bedroom villa.
Dining At Santa Barbara
At Santa Barbara Eco-Beach Resort, the restaurant "Areais" and the bar receive you with local products and a breathtaking view over Santa Barbara’s beach. Between June and October, you can also enjoy the Beach Club "Areais", which offers you all the facilities while you’re visiting the beach.
Placed in a prime location, the restaurant "Santa Barbara" offers you a variety of genuine flavours, achieved with the freshness of local and seasonal ingredients. Between 8am and 10:30am you can have your breakfast over the wide sandy Santa Barbara beach, tasting the typical products from Furnas or the special bread from Ribeira Grande. At lunch, you can enjoy the dazzling view while you try carefully prepared meals, served with the best local drinks, accompanied by the soothing sound of the waves. At the end of the day, have dinner enjoying the outdoor spirit, delighting yourself with the delicacies prepared specially for you. There is also a sushi corner serving the best sushi and sashimi made with the freshest fish.
In the bar, you can find several delicious cocktails, local beverages or some of the local wines and famous liquors. The view over the sea is the trademark of the bar, where the natural fruit juices are another highlight. The tastefully decorated space appeals to the spontaneity, where children are always welcome.
In the Beach Club "Areais" you can relish a great variety of light meals, without leaving Santa Barbara beach. In this magical environment, you can find the perfect drink to cool off and relax while you choose between a dive in our cool waters or just lying there in the sun. A relaxed service that matches the chill environment of the Santa Barbara beach.
Facilities And Activities
The exterior saltwater swimming pool serves as a retreat, where you can relax with the soothing sound of the sea waves. You can also enjoy a massage at the cabana in front of the sea.
Besides the reception and in every one of the Villas you have at your disposal the “Fill your Fridge” service, and through an iPad you will be able to book any activity or service, with no need of an intermediary. You will be able to choose between tours, massages or even the transfer service, everything is built to make your stay even more comfortable, attending your every need.
With the sea as your backdrop, you can enjoy a wide variety of activities, to practice individually or with the whole family. Taking advantage of the cool beach waters, you can choose between surf lessons, bodyboarding, SUPing, snorkelling or a simple kayak ride.
On land, you can walk more than half a mile in the sand, surrender yourself to jogging on the beach, let the sunlight enlighten you with some yoga or relax with a massage with the sea sound in the back, as try a walking or bike tours. If you’re not in the mood for an adrenaline burst, but you want to explain your little ones the benefits of the farming activity, you can always help in the seasonal activities of the biological farm that supplies the restaurant. There are also cooking classes so that you can express yourself your way and give new life to famous local ingredients.
