The Finch Bay Eco Hotel is ideally located, occupying a prime location outside Puerto Ayora, on the south side of Santa Cruz Island, the only beach front hotel on the island. The Charles Darwin Research Station is just 15 minute walk away. The ecosystem of the Galapagos Islands is fragile and Finch Bay actively seeks to minimise its negative impact while also having a positive impact wherever it can. The Finch Bay Eco Hotel, offers an alternative way of experiencing the Galapagos Islands for those not wanting to join a Galapagos Liveaboard, or as an extension either before or after your Galapagos Islands cruise.

Each of Finch Bay's 27 Rooms & Suites has a balcony or terrace. There are 21 Garden View Rooms: 17 rooms with Twin beds and 4 rooms with King-size bed. In addition there are 6 Ocean View Suites: 3 suites with two Queen-size beds and 3 with King-size. Rooms design is contemporary drawing on the natuarl Galapagos outside your window. They are equiped with wooden blinds, black-out curtain, tile floors, air-conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, hair dryers and biodegradable soap and shampoo dispensers, and a telephone. 

Wine And Dine

Delicious, healthy international and Galapagos inspired dishes are prepared daily by the Finch Bay's Cordon Bleu-qualified Head Chef, Byron Rivera, using the freshest ingredients – including many from the hotel's own organic vegetable garden. Vegetarian meals and special requirements can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking. The Finch Bay's restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel does not offer room service. When away from the hotel on day trips aboard the yacht Sea Lion lunch will be served onboard.
