Seaside Finolhu, Maldives

Accommodation at Finolhu is spacious and bright with a tropical-modern feel. Lagoon Villas measure around 145 square metres and are set over the water with direct access to the lagoon, a king-size bed, indoor bathroom with bathtub and rain shower, sun loungers on a private deck, and space for up to three guests. 

Ocean Pool Villas are approximately 180 square metres, perched over the water with sweeping ocean views, a private infinity plunge pool, outdoor deck with loungers, and the same king-size bed setup for two adults and one child or three adults. 

Beach Villas, at roughly 205 square metres, are set on the beachfront with a lush garden and shaded terrace, king-size bed, open-air shower courtyard, and room for two adults and up to two children. Beach Pool Villas offer similar space but include a private pool in a secluded garden setting.

Families or larger groups can opt for the Two-Bedroom Interconnecting Beach Villa, about 410 square metres, with two separate bedrooms, private outdoor bathrooms, a shared garden, and space for up to six adults or a mix of adults and children. 

The Two-Bedroom Water Villa with Pool spans around 460 square metres, offering two bedrooms, a large living and dining space, a private infinity pool, direct lagoon access, and accommodation for up to six guests. 

The Rockstar Ocean Pool Villa, also about 460 square metres, is the most exclusive option, with two master bedrooms, personal bar, expansive deck with private pool, and butler service, set at the far end of the jetty for ultimate privacy.

The island has a central Beach Club, the heart of its social scene, where guests gather for music, cocktails, and entertainment. A large freshwater pool with surrounding loungers and cabanas is available, along with a smaller pool for children. The Fehi Spa offers a selection of treatments in colourful garden huts, as well as yoga, meditation, and beauty services. A well-equipped indoor and outdoor gym caters to fitness enthusiasts.

Dining includes the main Beach Kitchen serving international buffets and themed evenings, Kanusan for Japanese fine dining, Arabian Grill for North African and Middle Eastern flavours, Crab Shack for fresh seafood in a laid-back beach setting, and Milk Lab for healthy snacks, coffee, and pastries. Private dining experiences on the beach or sandbanks can also be arranged.

The resort’s water activities take advantage of its location in a protected atoll. Guests can snorkel directly from the shore or take guided trips to nearby reefs, join dolphin cruises, go sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, or enjoy fishing excursions. Scuba diving is available with a fully equipped dive centre and PADI-certified instructors. Conservation-focused marine biology sessions allow guests to learn about and help protect the reef.

Families are well catered for with the Oceaneers Club, offering supervised activities for children such as nature explorations, crafts, and games, while teenagers have their own dedicated lounge space. Babysitting services are available on request. Bicycles are provided for exploring the island at leisure.

Additional amenities include boutique shops, a photo studio, a library lounge, medical clinic, and villa host services. Evenings can be spent enjoying live music, DJ sets, stargazing, or movie nights under the stars.
