Boutique Beach, Maldives

Boutique Beach is a small, all-inclusive diving retreat located on Dhigurah Island in the South Ari Atoll of the Maldives. It is best suited for passionate divers, couples, and small groups who want an authentic, relaxed, and community-focused island experience. The atmosphere is friendly and informal, blending barefoot island living with world-class diving opportunities, including easy access to whale shark encounters and stunning reefs teeming with marine life. The property is run by divers for divers, offering simple yet stylish comfort with a personal touch and a strong connection to local Maldivian culture.

Accommodation consists of six spacious guest rooms, each thoughtfully designed to be comfortable and functional for travellers spending most of their time exploring the ocean. 

Four of the rooms feature either a king-size or twin beds and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, comfortably sleeping up to two guests. 

The remaining two rooms include a four-poster bed plus a double-sized daybed, making them ideal for friends or families of up to three guests. All rooms have air conditioning, a private terrace or balcony, a small seating area, tea and coffee facilities, a minibar, and easy access to the long sandy beach that stretches along Dhigurah Island.

Dining is relaxed and communal, with freshly prepared meals served in the main restaurant or on the rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and soft drinks are included throughout the stay, with menus featuring Maldivian specialities, fresh fish, and international favourites made from local produce. Evenings often finish on the rooftop, where guests gather to watch sunsets, share stories, and sometimes watch dive footage from the day’s adventures.

Facilities focus mainly on diving and ocean-based activities. A PADI 5-star dive centre nearby offers up to three dives daily, including night dives and full-day safaris. More than 50 dive sites are accessible, featuring healthy coral reefs, reef sharks, manta rays, turtles, and seasonal whale shark sightings. Snorkelling is excellent directly from the beach, and excursions are regularly arranged to explore other reefs and sandbanks. Non-divers can enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing trips, and boat excursions, as well as cycling tours to explore the local island and learn about Maldivian life.
