Welcome to Orange Hill Beach Inn Nassau, your Bahamas hotel destination with the charm of the family islands and all the conveniences of home.

The property is located on the north side of New Providence, Nassau. Set on a hilltop overlooking the ocean, Orange Hill Beach Inn is few steps from a sandy beach and the crystal clear water of the Bahamas. It is a perfect stopover point to relax, have a drink and get into the island mood.

Accommodation At Orange Hill Beach Inn

Studio Rooms

Studio rooms feature one queen or two twin size beds with air-conditioning. Upper & lower floors feature a balcony or patio with a partial ocean view. Our studio rooms are popular with singles and couples who are staying for a week or more and wish to have a small in-room kitchenette.

Kitchenette includes compact refrigerator, microwave, two-burner cooktop, toaster, coffee/tea maker.

The tiled bathroom features a shower/tub combination. An in-room safe is available for a nominal daily fee, and the room has a telephone and satellite TV.

The Poolside Rooms

Poolside rooms feature two queen beds or one queen bed and two twin beds. These rooms have a much larger interior than compared to the studio rooms.

The first floor features a patio right at the pool and the second floor features a balcony with pool view.

These are the most popular rooms in the hotel, and the rooms with three beds allow to offer comfortable, triple occupancy.

Apartments

Orange Hill also features two spacious apartments with full kitchens for guests looking for a place where they can make meals. The apartments are between the pool and bar area and are always popular with guests staying in the hotel for a week or more.

Cottage

The hotel now has a spacious cottage on the property. It’s a great space with a kitchenette and great ocean view.

Drink & Dine

The Honour Bar at Orange Hill

The bar at Orange Hill is a special place, where you meet with, and make new friends. It’s a very popular spot just after 5 p.m. and then again after dinner. The bar is located at the front of the property near the main house.

A bartender is on duty after 6 p.m., but the bar is open all day. Guest simply fill out the daily honour bar sheet when they order or make a drink.

The bar and restaurant area has been host to many parties, including wedding receptions, christening and birthday parties.

Orange Hill Restaurant

The hotel does have a small restaurant. Breakfast is served each morning from 7:30 to 10 a.m. and lunch from noon to 2:45 p.m.

Dinner is served from 6 until 8:30 p.m. five days a week. The restaurant is closed for dinner on Wednesday and Saturday nights.

For breakfast, the selection includes eggs, buttermilk pancakes, omelets, French toast, assorted cold cereals and a variety of side orders.

The lunch menu includes a variety of deli sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers & cheeseburgers.

For dinner, guest generally have a meat, pasta, chicken or fish entree on the menu. As an example, an evening menu may offer Bahamian Steamed Lamb Chops, Spaghetti Bolognese, BBQ Chicken or Ribs, Grouper Stuffed with Crab, Curry Beef or one of their special Bahamian Combos – Beef, Ribs, Chicken or a Bahamian Lobster Tail.

Facilities And Services

The pool is conveniently located in the main courtyard, steps away from each room. This comfortable courtyard space has chase lounges around the pool and plenty of sun throughout the day.

The pool does have a very shallow end and a deep end. There is no lifeguard on duty, so children must be properly supervised.

The Beach

Located on the north side of the island, Orange Hill is located just across the street from a first-class beach area. Popular with locals – but with no vendors to bother you – the white-sand beach area is comfortable for swimming, snorkeling and shallow water scuba diving.

The beach is protected by a reef about 150 yards off-shore and is only 75 steps from the hotel.

Grocery Run

Orange Hill features a daily grocery run each morning. If you’d like to stock up, you’re welcome to join staff members for the short ride to the store or the staff can pick something up for you.

Wireless Internet Access

The hotel does have wireless internet access available for those of you who travel with your laptop. It is available in the lobby, bar and front garden area.

Laundry Service

Orange Hill does have three washing machines and four dryers on-site. You can purchase tokens at the front desk.
