Overview of Mermaid II
V Mermaid II is a 32-metre, double engine steel motor yacht. One of the most comfortable liveaboards in Thailand, she easily accommodates 18 guests in 8 deluxe cabins and 1 budget cabin. The budget cabin is only used for full group boat charters, so 16 guests is the usual maximum amount.
Accommodation at Mermaid II
The vessel accommodates 16 guests in eight Deluxe cabins and two guests in a budget cabin below deck.
Deluxe Cabins - All deluxe cabins are on the main deck with large panoramic sea view windows and private en-suite bathrooms.
Budget Cabin - The Budget cabin is below deck with twin bunks, a shared bathroom and can bit a bit noisy.
All the cabins have:
- Air conditioning
- Large sea-view window (except lower deck)
- Toilet and hot water shower for every 2 cabins - unlimited showering
- Bedding and towels
- Hand basin and mirror
- Wardrobe with life jackets
- 2-prong socket mains outlet 380 Volts, 220 Volts & 12 Volts, 24 hours per day
Guests facilities include a large and spacious saloon with lounge suites and big windows, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, TV, DVD, a music center and an extensive library. There are two outside decks - The shade covered party deck has comfortable lounge chairs. The sundeck, located in front of the wheelhouse has full sun and cushioned sun platform.
Drink & Dine
The dining room is located on the main deck where delicious buffet style Thai and western meals are served as well as a continental breakfast. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, hot chocolate and water are provided free of charge. Beer is also available for purchase.

There is a wide stern dive platform with two exit ladders and fresh water showers. the dive deck is huge with plenty of room to gear up, individual boxes for your dive gear, camera table and loads of rinse tanks. Eanx Nitrox is available.
