Overview of Excellence
Excellence was one of the new generation of purpose built wooden liveaboards, built by the best shipyard in Alexandria with a new hull design to improve performance, stability and speed. Launched in May 2002, Excellence's full 34 meters cuts through the Red Sea at 15 knots getting you between dive sites in comfort.
Accommodation aboard Excellence
Built in mahogany and oak with teak decks, Excellence can accommodate twenty-two guests in her eleven cabins - 8 twin and 3 double. Each cabin has en-suite facilities, fridge and individual air conditioning. Towels, bathrobes are also provided.
The salon is spacious and equipped with the latest in multimedia entertainment like DVD/CD and TV. Sun lovers can indulge themselves on the upper sun deck, with plenty of room to sunbathe and chill-out.
Drink & Dine
Three meals per day are included on board, lunch and evening meals, usually served buffet style, consist of meat, fish, vegetable and rice dishes with a choice of salads. Breakfast is a mix of cereals, fresh fruits and breads and eggs cooked as you like them.
Fruit and snacks are available through the day.
Water, soft drinks, tea and coffee are complimentary.
If you have a favourite snack feel free to bring it with you as availability may be limited locally. For any special dietary requests, such as vegetarian meals, please inform us at time of booking and mention it to the crew on boarding Excellence.
Beer, wine and spirits, along with carbonated mixers, are charged for onboard. Your dive guides will not allow you to dive after consuming alcohol or while still under its influence as alcohol impairs judgment and increases your risk of decompression sickness.

Diving Facilities
Excellence has a dive deck, and platform at water level with ample space for divers to kit up. She is equipped with a Nitrox membrane, and is also a photographer friendly Red Sea diving liveaboard vessel.
