Overview Spinguera Eco Lodge

The Spinguera Eco Lodge is a beautiful lodge located on the north shore of Boa Vista,and is surrounded by nothing but the natural landscape. The owners restored the lodge from what used to be buildings used by fishermen many years ago, to the charming, characteristic place it is today. The lodge aims to be eco friendly, using renewable energy sources. The secluded location on the lodge ensures no artificial light can be seen for miles, and you can truly feel away from the busy world. The Spinguera Eco lodge is around 1Km from the sea, making this a great option for free kiters.

Accommodation Spinguera Eco Lodge

The eco lodge has a choice of rooms to accommodate all tastes, though each room can only accommodate 2 adults, and children. There are 10 rooms, and 2 Villas, each with a kitchen and large bathroom. All accommodation has sea views. They have Standard rooms, Superior rooms, Apartments, and Villas. All accommodation is based in the beautifully restored buildings which were once used by fishermen. Attention has been paid to detail which is what makes this place so beautiful, it still has it's rustic charm, yet has been modernised to ensure a comfortable stay.

Bars & Restaurants Spinguera Eco Lodge

The of Ca Cabra restaurant's cuisine is a fusion of Cape Verde simplicity and the Italian passion from the owners. They look for fresh and genuine products, supplied locally wherever possible.

For breakfast a wide range of fruits, yoghurts, cakes and other home made delights are served.

For lunch and dinner, locally caught fish or meat served with vegetables and rice are prepared with imagination and passion.

Facilities Spinguera Eco Lodge

Along with the restaurants that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there is a small boutique and even a beauty centre which is to open soon. You can book 4x4 rental here either with or without a driver.

As the lodge has such a big focus on being environmentally friendly, electricity is not widely used, and hot water is produced by solar panels. Please also note that there is no GSM coverage here.
