This morning you'll be picked up, at your chosen location, by your experienced guide and travel through spectacular scenery to the colourful Candikuning market where you can sample exotic fruits including the durian, renowned for its rather distinctive odour. You'll visit the expansive and enchanting botanical gardens, home to around 1500 species of beautiful plants, with separate zones dedicated to different varieties including rose, orchid, cactus and medicinal plants.

The tour then takes you to the Ulundanu Temple on Lake Bratan. One of the most photographed temples on the island and an iconic image of Bali, this is an exceptional sight that gives the illusion of floating on water. Take in the natural beauty of this peaceful area before travelling through countryside, terraced rice fields and plantations, and via the Gitgit waterfall, on your way to the northern town of Lovina (approx. 60 miles) for a two-night stay.

On your way back from the volcano, visit the Holy Spring Water Temple at Sebatu village. Then drive on to Ubud, where you'll stay for two nights (approx. 68 miles).
