Anantara Medjumbe is paradise! The beauty of this environment coupled with the tranquility is heaven. The hotel and bungalows are very pleasant, well kept and comfortable with all you need. The staff are very professional and pleasing, without any exceptions.

Ibo Island Lodge is wonderful spot, with great staff, a calm, comfortable and eclectic feel, and great attention to detail. The lodge itself is beautifully put together - three old colonial residences with thick coral-block walls, vast high ceilings and shady courtyard gardens, all converted into a beautiful lodge filled with antiques and a ton of charm.

Anantara Medjumbe is the ideal getaway for couples who want complete relaxation. The hotel offers wonderful views. The service is wonderfully friendly.

If we had to sum Azura Quilalea up in one word - 'paradise' would really be it. From flying in via helicopter over crystal waters and sandy beaches, to meandering your way through the middle of the island down quiet, shady paths admiring the beautiful baobab trees. The villas are beautiful and facilities superb - the diving equipment was spotless! Everyone that worked there was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make it special for us. And the food! As a seafood fan, I will never again be able to face UK seafood after all the wonderful meals we had. Probably the first and last time I have lobster for breakfast!

Azura Quilalea is the stuff of dreams - arriving on an island that is truly yours for the time you are there. We were fortunate enough to spend 5 days there with a few friends, celebrating a special birthday. Our welcome drink served in a coconut while we watched the sun setting over the sea set the scene for the next 5 days. Our room was gorgeous and very private, with the opportunity to walk down to a little beach to swim. The island is made of coral, and at low tide we could see little caves along the edges of the sea, and the shells all over were a sight to behold.

Nothing could have been too much trouble for the very welcoming Azura Quilalea. By way of example, after three very enjoyable days in one of the sunrise villa’s we were upgraded to a “sunset villa” with a newly installed plunge pool, to experience the other side of the island.

Anantara Medjumbe is the most incredible island paradise I've been on, everything was first class, the villas, the level of service, the quality and attention to detail fabulous, thanks to Charles the general manager and his team.Truly spectacular getaway, helicopter ride over the archipelago to the island, fantastic tranquil views, gorgeous weather, no light pollution at night so star gazing fabulous (easy to see shooting stars also), blissfully quiet and dreamlike paradise.

Went to Medjumbe island for a holiday. Charles and his team of merry men do a fantastic job there. Gary made us amazing food, and had a braai (African barbecue) one night and fabulous sea food the other. The diving is amazing out there, a reef wall that goes 100's of meters deep certainly well worth the trip. (Shallow dives are offered as well as resort courses) Helicopter transfer makes for a change and very comfortable. I challenge anyone to find a better island getaway.
