Overview of Galapagos Sky

Galapagos Sky, formerly Sky Dancer, is a 30 meter steel hull liveaboard, offering very comfortable accommodation. Galapagos Sky provides a perfect base from which to enjoy the outstanding diving available in the Galapagos. In Spring 2010, Galapagos Sky underwent a refurbishment of the interior fixtures and soft furnishings. This liveaboard has an air-conditioned salon and dining area, and a sundeck. Guests can enjoy the TV/DVD & CD system. A high level of service is provided by the excellent crew, with warm towels after every dive, dinner table service and tea in bed in the morning should you wish!

Accommodation aboard Galapagos Sky

The vessel offers eight guests cabins:
Master Cabins - There are four Master cabins on the upper deck with twin beds which can be converted to doubles and TV & DVD.
Deluxe cabins - Located on the lower deck, four Deluxe cabins feature twin beds.
All the cabins have:
  • Air-conditioning
  • Windows on upper deck, portholes on lower deck
  • Private en-suite bathroom with toilet and hot water shower
  • Hand basin, toiletries, hairdryer, towels and bathrobes
  • Reading lights
  • Bedside cabinet and mirror
  • Fire detector and alarm system
  • Fire extinguisher and life jackets
  • 2 and 3-flat pin 110-220V electricity
  • Bedding and luggage space
The Galapagos Sky is fully air-conditioned. Its interior features teak paneling and furnishings, a dining area, a fully stocked bar, and a main salon with an audio/video entertainment center. On deck, ample space is allocated for personal dive gear storage, a photo and video film lab, light tables, daily E-6 processing, and open deck space for sunbathing.

Drink & Dine

The Galapagos Sky cuisine offers three meals per day that includes mainly Ecuadorian and American cuisine but also variety of warming soups, meat dishes, seafood and desserts. Snacks, coffee, tea, drinking water, soft drinks, beer, spirits and wine are free of charge.
All dietary requirements can be catered for except Kosher, please send advanced notice.

Diving Facilities

Divers appreciate the large dive platform with fresh water showers, fresh water rinses, dive deck assistance and photo and dive equipment rental services. Zodiacs will ferry you between exquisite dive sites and the anchored yacht. Most underwater forays are drift dives. The Sky Dancer offers up to four dives per day on a pre-planned, yet flexible itinerary. After every dive, wrap up in fresh warm towels, and snuggle into plush, terrycloth bathrobes found in each cabin.
