Big Stuff Safari

Adding on to the best selling "Ultimate Bali Tour", the "Bali Big Stuff Safari" is designed for those that want to experience close encounters with giant Mola Mola (oceanic sunfish) and manta rays. These gentle giants can be regularly found from August to October in the colder waters south of Bali and always make for an unforgettable experience. Shorter versions of this safari are available upon request - please enquire for details.

Day One: An Overnight flight from the UK to Denpasar.

Day Two: Transfer from Denpasar airport to accommodation in the North of Bali (approx. 3.5 hours by road) overnight accommodation at Zen Resort.

Day Three: Enjoy breakfast and head off to Menjangen National Marine Park (approx. 1 hour) for 2 dives. Enjoy beautiful corals and a vast array of marine life. Overnight accommodation at Zen Resort (BB)

Day Four: Enjoy 2 afternoon dives at Puri Jati, don't forget that camera as this is going to be one hell of a critter hunt with mimic, blue ringed and coconut octopus, flying gurnards, sea moths, blue eyed sting fish, frog fish, hairy frog fish, stargazer, dragonets. Take it easy though as you might want to preserve your energy as your package also includes a night dive. Overnight accommodation at Zen Resort.

Day Five: Transfer to the diving village of Tulamben on the north East Coast of the island (approx. 2 hours drive) and enjoy two dives with an expert guides, Tulamben has a host of dive sites including the "USAT Liberty" shipwreck. If you enjoy macro diving, try taking a look for ghost pipefish or mantis shrimp at Seraya Secrets or Coral Garden. Overnight accommodation at Tulamben Resort.

Day Six: Continue your Tulamben exploration with two morning dives. Relax by the pool for the afternoon before grabbing the camera and gearing up for your spectacular night dive on the wreck. Overnight accommodation at Tulamben Resort.

Day Seven: We highly recommend getting up very early today - you'll enjoy better visibility and fewer divers. The "USAT Liberty" in particular is a great morning dive. Enjoy three more dives today. Transfer to Sanur. Overnight accommodation at Sanur Resort.

Day Eight: Enjoy a free day in Sanur on day 10, maybe relax on the beach or sample some of the local cuisine. Overnight accommodation at Sanur Resort.

Day Nine: Board your high speed dive vessel for the beginning of your "Big Stuff Tour"; enjoy three dives with your manta and sunfish expert. Overnight accommodation at Sanur Resort.

Day Ten: Travel to the Nusa Penida region once more; where during your time here you can enjoy three action packed dives with your expert guide in the continued search for mola molas and manta rays trough nice soft and hard corals and some great drift diving. The corals are beautiful and those currents can make for some amazing drift diving. Overnight accommodation at Sanur Resort.

Day Eleven: Wake up to another day of incredible diving and stay in the Sanur Resort another night.
Day Twelve: Relax! Enjoy a free day in Sanur; maybe you need to top up your sun tan or do some last minute souvenir shopping. Overnight accomodation at Sanur Resort.

Day Thirteen: Sorry but we're going to have to say good bye to you now as we transfer you back to Denpasar airport.........and hope to see you again next year!
