Travel from Ecuador's bustling capital city, to a liveaboard through the Galapagos archipelago before returning once again to Ecuador to an authentic farm adventure in the Andes. The perfect holiday for adventure-seekers - explore this wonderful part of the close on horseback, by bike and boat as you revel in the trip of a lifetime.
Days 1 - 3
Quito5* Casa Gangotena, Quito
Arrive in Ecuador's capital city of Quito and spend the first few days of your holiday relaxing and enjoying the sights this charming city. Your base at Casa Gangotena allows for the perfect place from which to discover the old town and colonial capital of Ecuador. Spend your day shopping at the local markets, learning about the history of Quito in the museums or just wondering around the old churches and mansions. In the evening head out to a lively restaurant or bar and mix with tourists and locals alike as you sample some delicious cuisine.
Days 3 - 10
Galapagos Liveaboard* Galapagos Aggressor III,
Fly to the Galapagos archipelago and hop on a boat to start discovering the very best the Galapagos Islands have to offer on a diving liveaboard (not included in the price). Encounter rare animals on land including iguanas, giant tortoises and blue-footed boobies or take to the water for close encounters with manta rays and sea lions. These close encounters with nature are what make the Galapagos a truly special destination.
Days 10 - 13
Otavalo4* Hacienda Zuleta, Otavalo
Travel from the Galapagos back to Quito and onwards to Otavalo where you will spend the last few days of your adventure at a unique working farm in the countryside. Make your home at the authentic Hacienda Zuleta and enjoy horseback riding through the mountains, cooking with the delicious cuisine produced on the farm and learning how to make your own indigenous arts and crafts. Spend these last few days being as adventurous as you like or simply kick back and relax in the mountains as you keep an eye out for wild condors.
