Days 1 - 4
2 days in CairoHotel: 5* Marriott Mena House Giza, Cairo Breakfast
Day One - On arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our tour representative who will transfer you to your hotel and assist with check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in preparation for your adventure to begin.
Day Two - After breakfast, you'll meet your Egyptologist who will take you on a morning tour of Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3,100BC, then it's on to the necropolis at Sakkara where you'll find the oldest known of Egypt's 107 pyramids. In the afternoon proceed to the site of the most famous of all sites, the 4,500 year-old pyramids at Giza. The Great Pyramid is the only survivor of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" as well as being the site of the legendary Sphinx, thought to have been built to guard the entrance to the Pharaoh's burial site.
Day Three - Visit the Egyptian Museum, home to an unparalleled collection of Egyptian artefacts with over 120,000 objects within 107 halls. Some of the most celebrated treasures, including a gold mask, gold sarcophagus and throne, are those taken from the tomb of King Tutankhamun. Next, you'll head into Islamic Cairo and the Al Azhar Park, a beautiful oasis in the heart of the city, created for the citizens of Cairo by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. From the park you'll head to the Citadel, a magnificent medieval fortress perched atop limestone cliffs, high above the city. Spend the rest of the day exploring the citadel's mosques and museums before continuing to the Mosque of Sultan Hassan - renowned for its rich decoration and grand architecture - and Khan El Khalili reputed to be the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Here you'll have the chance to practice your haggling skills as you shop for everything from woodwork and glassware to leather goods and perfumes. Or, if you prefer, simply wander the labyrinth of narrow lanes and soak up the sights and sounds of this magnificent market.

Days 3 - 10
Soma BayHotel: 5* Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay, Soma Bay Breakfast
After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for a short 1-hour flight down to Hurghada on the Red Sea Coast. From here there is a short 30 minute transfer to the resort of Soma Bay.
Soma Bay is a luxury holiday resort on the Red Sea Coast with some of the highest standards of accommodation to be found anywhere in the country. Soma Bay s also a paradise for ocean sports lovers, either on or under the water. Here you will find world-class scuba diving, as well as some of the very best, windsurf, kitesurf and wing foiling schools.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Luxor. The transfer time is around 4 hours. Ona arrival you il board directly your small luxury Nile cruise to start the 4-day Luxury to Aswan itinerary as follows:
