The Carpe Vita Explorer is a completely newly built vessel with a wooden hull, designed and built by an experienced Maldivian boat builder, that will be a more luxurious version of the Carpe Diem, her sistership, mainly focussing on the dive industry by offering itineraries with standard up to 4 dives a day. As the Carpe Diem, the Carpe Vita Explorer has 10 guest cabins divided in 3 categories over 3 decks and can cater for a maximum of 20 divers. Imagine enjoying the beautiful Maldivian Sun, Sea, Sand and Stars while Scuba diving, Salsa dancing, Surfing, Sunbathing, Snorkelling and Swimming. Cruising in the Maldives has never been so diverse and fun with all these activities offered on our brand new boat resulting in a dream holiday.
Carpe Vita has 10 comfortable cabins of different standards divided over 3 decks. The different cabin types are suite (2), superior (2) and standard (6). All cabins have individually controlled AC, safety deposit boxes and TV screens with DVD players and their own private bathrooms. The electricity voltage on board is of 220V and the plugs are of 3 pins US type. All the cabins have a name of a sea life creature instead of a number.
Outside in front of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable cushions, where you could have your afternoon tea while cruising and taking in the beautiful colours of the Indian Ocean.
You will enjoy the excellent variety of our fine dining chef for European and international cuisine and our experienced local chef for a delicious variety of Maldivian, Thai and Indian cuisine. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a comfortable area with a splendid view.
The Carpe Vita Explorer will be accompanied by a specially designed new 61 foot diving dhoni (diving tender) to meet the needs and comfort of the divers today. On board we have a fully equipped PADI licensed dive school offering courses for beginners up to several specialty courses for the more experienced divers.
