GENERAL OVERVIEW
The CHEDI Muscat is located on the beach twenty kilometers north of Muscat city centre. Its position gives it easy access to the city and also the airport which is ten minutes away by taxi. As well as the facilities in the hotel, Muscat City has a large number of traditional shops and a Souk in Muttrah as well as several modern shopping malls. There are many interesting locations near to the hotel including the old port, historic forts and the Natural History Museum. For sport there is also the Bandar Al Rowdha Marina nearby which offers a range of water sports together with activities such as dolphin watching.
THE ACCOMMODATION
The CHEDI Muscat offers four types of accommodation consisting of Standard Rooms (known as Serai Room), Deluxe Rooms, Deluxe Club Rooms and Chedi Club Suites. All rooms are doubles with the Serai having queen size beds and the rest having king size beds. Rooms at the rear of the hotel have ocean views and the remainder have views of the gardens and surrounding mountains. All the rooms have the same modern decor and styling with quality furnishings.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
The CHEDI Muscat's main dining area for breakfast, lunch and dinner is known simply as The Restaurant. Located to the right of the hotel lobby it has seating inside and also outside on a large courtyard. Within the restaurant there are also three semi-private dining rooms which can accommodate between 12 to 20 persons. Guests can also choose to have lunch and dinner at two outside Cabana's located at the Chedi Pool and the Serai Pool. Chedi Club members can also have a continental breakfast served in the lounge/library.
