Misool Eco Resort General impression
Located in a paradisiacal remote corner of the planet, Misool Eco Resort is a small and private dive resort in the southern part of Raja Ampat islands, Indonesia. Nestled deep in a vast archipelago of uninhabited islands, you will find powder-white beaches, stunning clear lagoons, abundant reefs to dive just in the heart of marine biodiversity. Half a day's journey from the nearest village, the resort is closed during in July, August and September due to weather conditions.
The island and major dive sites are proudly surrounded by the owners 1220 sq km No-Take Zone. Misool Eco Resort is strongly committed to a policy of environmental responsibility, the construction and operation of the resort is engineered to minimize environmental impact.
Divers of all kind will be happy to see the big stuff as giant Mantas, mobula rays, immense schools of surgeons, swirling Barracuda, wobbegang sharks – and the macro like ghost pipefish, blue-ringed octopus, frogfish, pygmy seahorse, mandarin fish and more. Non-divers will appreciate to lounge in a hammock, enjoy the tropical breezes, and watch the hornbills flying overhead while the color of the water change over the course of a day.
