Manta Ray Season in the Red Sea (Sudan)

Sudan, Africa’s largest country, stretches 2,000km north to south yet has just 853km of Red Sea coastline, Egypt has 2,450km. Still its marine life is so rich that Sudan ranks amongst the world’s top dive destinations.

We have some fantastic liveaboard itineraries on offer that cover a multitude of amazing dive sites from Merlo you’ll follow North East Merlo, Angarosh, Abington and down south to Qita el Banna, Sha’ab Rumi, Sanganeb and, finally, the wreck of Umbria. You’ll have a great chance of seeing schools of jackfish, sex fasciatus with ignobilis, Gray Sharks and Whitetip sharks all swimming slowly, quiet and close, perfect for filming and photos.

Not to mention Hammerheads, Barracudas, tons of groupers of various shapes and sizes, beautiful corals hard and soft corals.

Sound good?!
